Bringing up a child with eczema. A personal story.

Some 30 years ago, we brought home from hospital, our second child, a beautiful baby girl. Our older daughter, only four and a half at the time, was not too sure about that, fearful, in her little heart, of losing her ‘first person’ status at home.. My Story – Living with Eczema

The earliest memories of my skin condition as a child are feelings of pain, severe itchiness and irritability. My worst time of the day was getting into the water. It would take both parents to get me into the bath, kicking and screaming, following which there would be ongoing tears and agitation, until towel was finally wrapped around me.
